Château Durfort Vivens

with hints of violet. The nose is superbly powerful, but here again elegance prevails. 
The aromas are reminiscent of marinated plums, blackberry and elderberry, combined with mellow notes of vanilla, sweet spices and dark chocolate. 
The structure is very present and the wine is very complex, a few more years of patience before it opens up fully. The palate is magnificent for its length, minerality and freshness.
This vintage really is on a par with the 2000.
