Château Méaume Reserve 2018

Château Méaume is a 250-acre estate, with 100 acres under vine and the rest of the land divided
evenly between forest and pasture. All aspects of the estate are centred on sustainability,
through good agricultural practices in the vineyard, preservation of the forests and natural
animal raising in the pastures.
Château Méaume Réserve du Château is crafted from a selection of the best Merlot and
Cabernet Franc grapes with a maximum production of 40 hectolitres per hectare (10,000 bottles).
Château Méaume only produces Réserve du Château in the years with the best conditions to allow for the greatest vintages.

TASTING NOTES
Fine and elegant bouquet evoking elderberry, roasted coffee, vanilla and
aromas of ripe black fruit. A well-balanced mouth. Ample, round and
dense, supported by silky tannins.
Open 2 hours before tasting and decant if possible.
Great with red meats, roasted meats, game, matured cheeses and
vegetarian dishes.
