Moscato AOC Valais

History
In Valais, Muscat was first mentioned in 1535-1536 under
the name muscatellum. Its excellent reputation is
highlighted in several historical documents from the 17th
and 18th centuries.

Vineyard
Various plots of land in Chamoson at an altitude of 480 -
550meters; Guyot pruning for a yield of 1kg/m2

Grape variety
Selection of Muscat Ottonel (50%) and Muscat petit grain
jaune (50%)

Vinification
A single fermentation in a closed vat, followed by pressure
filtration, gives this sparkling wine a low alcohol content of
5% vol. and a natural sugar content of around 50 grams per
litre.

Tasting notes
Colour Straw yellow with green undertones, Nose
Enveloping notes of wild rose, sweet scents of elderflower,
lychee and white peach, Palate Juicy flavours of vine peach, hint of mandarin, extraordinary wine, delights the senses
