History
Petite Arvine, a grape variety indigenous to the Valais, has
been cultivated for at least four centuries. Initially little
planted, it gained in popularity in the 20th century. Between
1991 and 2008, the area planted almost quadrupled thanks
to careful selection. Demanding, it requires optimum
exposure and avoids fertile soils and drought. Appreciated
for its distinctive character and ageing potential, Petite
Arvine has resisted attempts to grow it elsewhere in
Europe, where conditions are not suitable.

Slow, gentle pressing, a single fermentation at a low

liveliness.
